REWORKS Quality. Performance. Value. These are the words Airborne Engines take pride in using when describing reworks capabilities. By strictly controlling the reworks on repair and overhaul jobs, Airborne Engines is able to provide the best performance possible from a module or an engine. Whether it is plasma spraying and final machining a blade path to ensure maximum gas path efficiency, or relocating gearbox bores to ensure long gear life and low vibrations, Airborne Engines' reworks are built in added value. The value starts with precision measurement on a Mitotoyo BH710 Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), and carries on through spraying (Thermal/Plasma/Spray-Bronze) to machining (mill and lathe), and welding. Chrome and chrome-grinding is handled by Airborne Engines' extremely prompt and professional third party supplier. Airborne Engines' T53 reworks are Honeywell OEM approved, and are utilized by other Honeywell R&O's world-wide. By constantly monitoring engine trends, Airborne Engines has learned to adapt and create repairs to meet industry demands. These repairs are Transport Canada Approved and provide further evidence of value and commitment to quality.
