TEST CELL

Airborne Engines' test cell (located at South Airport, YVR) was custom built by TurboMotive Inc. of Connecticut. Correlation of the T53 portion of the test cell was carried out by Honeywell Engines, and as such it is manufacturer approved for all commercial and military T53 variants, from -11B through -17B (L-11 through L703). Rolls Royce Allison A250 series (C20 through C30), as well as Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A series engines (-20 through -42) can also be tested in this cell.

Trouble-shooting runs are available on customer request, as are base line performance and vibration analysis. The computerized data acquisition/reduction system translates to accurate engine runs and analysis, time after time. Airborne Engines' test cell crew has over fifty years combined experience, and can ensure that the engine leaves with optimum performance trim established.
